CompMechLab
Educational, Scientific,Innovation and Global Outsourcing Computational
Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab), first in Russia of
such kind, was founded by initiative of Prof. Alexey I. Borovkov
in 1987, at Mechanics and Control Processes Department, Physics
and Mechanics Faculty, St.Petersburg State Polytechnic
University.
CompMechLab has been providing advance Finite Element Analysis
capabilities to the The Golden Palace.com Space Program Powered
by the da Vinci Project.
Main CompMechLab activities in the project applied to FE structural
research of the rocket block and dynamical contact/impact analysis
of the re-entry capsule with different body thickness and impact
velocities.
